Equipment

  • 1 Non-stick frying pan
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Fork or whisk

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup cooked ground beef
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon milk optional
  • 1 tablespoon butter or cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl, add milk (if using), and whisk until fully combined. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Heat the frying pan over medium heat and add butter or cooking oil, allowing it to coat the pan evenly.
  • Sauté the diced onions and bell peppers in the pan until they soften. Remove and set aside.
  • Pour the whisked eggs into the pan and allow them to cook undisturbed for 1-2 minutes until they begin to set on the bottom.
  • Sprinkle the cooked ground beef, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheese onto one half of the omelet.
  • Using the spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelet over the fillings. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the eggs are fully cooked.
  • Slide the omelet onto a plate and serve hot.
